I am holding Jeevan Suraksha policy with annual premium of
RS 9983.I failed to pay premium due in Dec 2010 as a result
policy got lapsed.I contacted LIC Pune office for revival.As
per their direction I did ECG and fasting sugar(as I was above
50 years) in first week of Jan 2012.On contacting on telephone
they confirmed that some more tests are to be carried out.
Meanwhile some insurance agent suggested that instead of doing further tests,let the policy be surrenderd toLIC as premium involved will be much more as CLASS 1,2,3 will be applicable.
Kindly advise me as the policy maturity date falls in Dec 2012.
